Supported exchanges and brokers, compared

24 platforms side by side: how trades get from each one into your journal, which markets are covered and what else is loaded.

Key check
The app notices a key that can do more than read and tells you to replace it.

Three ways trades get into the journal

  1. 1

    Automatically over the API

You create an API key with read-only permission at the exchange and paste it into WiggleWick. From then on trades load by themselves and you never come back to import anything. The key is stored encrypted and cannot trade or withdraw.

  2. 2

    From a statement

Where a platform has no usable API, you download its history export and upload the file. Uploading the same statement twice does no harm: trades already in the journal are skipped.

  3. 3

    By hand

A trade from anywhere else can be entered manually. Manual entry is a full part of the app; you can use WiggleWick without connecting a single exchange.

Questions about exchanges

Which exchanges sync automatically?

Binance, Bitfinex, Bitget, Bitpanda, Bitstamp, Bybit, Coinbase, Coinmate, Deribit, Gate.io, Hyperliquid, Kraken, KuCoin, MEXC, OKX, Interactive Brokers, Trading 212, and Freedom24. You connect them once and new trades keep loading by themselves.

Which platforms need a statement upload?

DEGIRO, Fio e-Broker, Patria Finance, XTB, MetaTrader 4/5, and cTrader. You download the history export from the platform and upload it. Uploading the same file again does not duplicate trades.

Can I connect several exchanges at once?

Yes. Connect as many exchanges and brokers as you use to one account and see the results in one place. Spot and futures stay separate.

Is funding on perpetuals part of the result?

On Bybit and OKX, yes: funding payments are downloaded and counted into the result of the position. On the other exchanges the result is without funding for now.

Do dividends load too?

From Trading 212 and XTB. They show in the portfolio next to your trading result and are not mixed in with trades.

My exchange is not on the list. What now?

You can use WiggleWick anyway: enter trades manually and they get the same journal, strategies and statistics as imported ones.

Connect your first exchange
